Using the Donation Items Viewer

Click the 'Capture' link in the Donation Items section (or 'Open Capture Page' on the project detail). This opens a dedicated capture page in a new tab — no login required, so you can use it on any device.

Use 'Take Photo' to snap a picture with your camera, or 'Choose Files' to upload several at once. Each photo becomes its own donation item entry. You can capture a whole batch in one session.

A moment after each photo uploads, a short description is generated automatically. Click into the text box to edit it if the description isn't quite right — add brand, condition, or any detail that helps.

At the top of the capture page, choose the project these items belong to from the dropdown. All items in your current batch will be attached to that project when you save.

Hit the 'Save' button. All ready items in your batch save to the selected project at once. You'll see a confirmation, and the batch clears so you can start the next one.

Back on the project card (or project detail page), the Donation Items section now shows your new items as thumbnails with their descriptions. The count badge updates automatically.

Hover over any item thumbnail and click the trash icon to delete it. Use this to remove duplicates or items captured by mistake.
